Get in touch
Liberated Reader is a personal project. If you have a question, found a bug, or want to share feedback, feel free to reach out. Response times vary but we read every message.
Before getting in touch, it is worth checking the common questions below — most issues with specific articles or news sites are covered there. If a publication is not working and is not listed, we are always interested to hear about it and will look into adding better support where possible.

Common questions
An article isn't loading — what should I try? Try pasting an archive.ph or archive.today link for the article directly. Some sites have very strong paywall protection that our fallbacks cannot bypass. For News Corp Australia titles (Daily Telegraph, Herald Sun, The Australian, Courier Mail) and WSJ, the tool will automatically redirect you to an archive link.
Can I request support for a specific news site? Yes — send us the site's URL and we will look into adding better support for it. We are particularly interested in hearing about Australian regional and independent news publications that are not currently working.
Is Liberated Reader available as a browser extension? Yes. Visit the home page and click the quick access tools section to download the Chrome extension. Once installed, right-click any article link in your browser to open it directly in Liberated Reader as a background tab without leaving the page you are on.
Is there a bookmarklet? Yes — a bookmarklet is also available from the home page. Drag it to your bookmarks bar and click it while reading any paywalled article to instantly open it in Liberated Reader.
Is my reading history private? Yes. Your reading history and scroll positions are stored only in your browser's local storage. They are never sent to the server and are not visible to anyone else.
Does Liberated Reader work on mobile? Yes — the site is fully responsive and works on iOS and Android browsers. The Chrome extension is desktop-only, but you can use the bookmarklet on mobile browsers that support it.
